How CEVA Logistics streamlined Employee CICO through SAP integration
Challenge
- CEVA Logistics needed employee data to flow seamlessly between its HR platform and SAP throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Full deployment of a Clock-In Clock-Out (CICO) system, including punch machines, supporting hardware and technical interface, was required across sites.
- Technical support was also needed for third-party integrations.
- Employee information from onboarding, profile updates, transfers, offboarding and other HR actions had to be accurately transferred to SAP.
Solution
- Ubitech integrated its HR platform with CEVA Logistics' SAP environment through individual APIs covering key employee lifecycle processes.
- Integrated with Amazon's internal workforce management platform (X-Punch) via API.
- Employee data was automatically synchronized from onboarding through ongoing employee management and offboarding.
- Separate API workflows were configured for relevant employee actions, enabling accurate and controlled data exchange.
